Alexander Mirza is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HospitalitySoul.com, whose mission is to be the world’s leading hospitality talent marketplace. Mirza has over 20 years of experience in senior executive roles in the largest hospitality and leisure companies and as an entrepreneur.
He began his career in management consulting firms including Deloitte as a partner at Accenture where he advised CEOs of Fortune 500 companies with large customer service operations including restaurant chains, airlines and ecommerce companies.
After management consulting, Mirza joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide as Head of Strategic Planning, reporting to the CFO and CEO. While at Starwood he designed and implement customer service related initiatives to reinvent the Sheraton hotel brand and service innovation initiatives for the Westin and W hotel brands.
He was subsequently SVP of Corporate Development at Hilton Worldwide, where he was a member of the senior operating team, reporting to the Global President and COO. At Hilton, his responsibilities included overseeing a $2 billion USD food and beverage business, deploying over $100 million in capital and launching the Waldorf Astoria luxury brand.
In 2013, After a year-long stint as International President on SBE’s management team reporting to Chairman Sam Nazarian, Mirza co-founded Cachet Hospitality in Shanghai and spent the next 5 years as CEO and grew the company to 15 properties open/under development in China, Thailand, the U.S. and Mexico. Under his leadership, Cachet was recognized as “Asia’s up and coming management team” with women representing over 50% of the executive team, and, won global design awards in only its 4th year of operations.
Mirza has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters degree in international relations and a 1st class Bachelors degree with distinction from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada where he was an Aga Khan Foundation scholar.
Christian C. Johnson is a CFO and finance leader for high-impact organizations around the globe with 20 years experience.
Johnson was CFO of the Philippine Electric Finance Corporation (REFC), where he created, and successfully implemented a financing and business plan for the organization.
As Vice President, Corporate Finance at Caesars Entertainment, he invested and oversaw implementation of $2B+ of capital investments across 6 countries and 52 properties in projects including new resort developments, IT upgrades & expansions, and technology innovation. Notably, he led the development and financing for Caesars online presence at caesars.com. Under his leadership, Caesars doubled its growth-project ROI to 18%, drove a cash flow of more than $250m, and raised $3B+ in debt and equity.
Both prior to and after Caesars, Chris founded an international development consulting firm, Emerging Markets Finance (EMF). EMF has successfully implemented dozens of projects & solutions to 20+ emerging-market governments. EMF’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, USAID, World Bank, Asian Development Bank.
Mr. Johnson earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, MS in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University, and BS in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He also honorably served 5+ years as a US Navy Officer as a member of Admiral Rickover’s Headquarters Staff, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
Dr. Michelle Crosby
Michelle is an industrial/organizational psychologist and human resources professional with over 25 years of practical, hands-on experience in human resources consulting and corporate HR leadership roles.
Most recently, Michelle was Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the senior leadership team for FRHI Hotels & Resorts, $4B, 45,000 employee, 110+ luxury hotel company including the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel brands operating in 35 countries. She was responsible for all aspects of human resources globally including organizational design & effectiveness, recruiting & selection, talent & learning, compensation and benefits, internal communication, HRMS and employee relations.
Michelle was also EVP and head of human resources for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide with responsibility for all aspects of human resources globally for 100,000 people across 90 countries . She started her career at Starwood as Senior Vice President, Organizational Capability with responsibility for talent management, leadership development, recruiting & selection, learning & development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness functions.
Prior to her corporate roles, Michelle was Senior Vice President and Northeast Region Head for Aon Consulting’s Human Resources Consulting Group (formerly HRStrategies). She has also consulted with numerous other hospitality organizations including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Dolce, Richfield Hospitality, IHG, Cachet Hotel Group, Red Lion Hotels and Denihan Hospitality.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Brown University and both Master of Arts and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Connecticut in industrial/organizational psychology. She is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and business meetings on HR strategy, leadership development, talent management, selection and assessment, employee engagement, service culture, and HR metrics.
Surinder Razdan is the CTO of HospitalitySoul and a Board Director. He is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 25 years of senior management and technology consulting experience in North America and India.
He has a proven track record of managing large and complex technology projects for global Fortune 500 corporations in the Financial services, Health care, Hospitality, Travel and Transportation industries. As leader of Project Management Office (PMO) for these global companies, he managed multiple, multi-tiered, multi-million dollar concurrent projects. His areas of expertise include software development, infrastructure deployment, process re-engineering, risk management and financial reporting and scorecards.
Surinder is an engineer from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India and an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
He is a Board Director of the Race Relations Committee, City of Markham, Ontario, the Markham Cricket Association and Mentor at New Immigrant Services COSTI. He was a board member of Ontario Shores for Mental Health Sciences from 2008-2017 and served as a member of its Audit and Governance committees.

Dave Jones has worked in recruiting, assessment, talent acquisition, and employment legal compliance for over 30 years. He drew on that experience in writing the recently released Million Dollar Hire, a book laying out the hiring strategies and tactics that led to creating HirePayoff™.
He founded HRStrategies, recognized as one of the fastest growing consulting and recruitment process outsourcing companies in the U.S. prior to its acquisition by today’s Aon-Hewitt. He was the global head of human resources consulting with Aon-Hewitt, one of the world’s largest HR consulting and outsourcing firms, and today is President of Growth Ventures Inc., a company that focuses on continually improving the “predictions” employers make every time they choose a new employee.
Dave has designed recruiting and hiring programs for a majority of the Fortune 100. He has lead industry-wide initiatives, creating new approaches to candidate recruiting and assessment for industries as diverse as high-tech, utilities, insurance and financial services, pharmaceutical, automotive producers and suppliers, hospitality and dining, consumer products, and others.
As technology solutions, social networking, and new approaches to candidate assessment have blossomed, he has contributed new product approaches and taken both investor and Board of Directors positions in the industry.
